Efficiency of non-thermal desorptions in cold-core conditions

چکیده

Under cold conditions in dense cores, gas-phase molecules and atoms are depleted from the to surface of interstellar grains. Considering time scales physical within these a portion has be brought back into explain their observation by milimeter telescopes. We tested respective efficiencies different mechanisms commonly included models. also addition sputtering ice grain mantles via collision with cosmic rays electronic stopping power regime. The induced been added Nautilus gas-grain model while other processes were already present. Each on 1D structure determined observations TMC1 cores. resulting chemical was compared methanol abundances observed found that all species not sensitive same way non-thermal desorption mechanisms, sensitivity depends conditions. Thus, it is mandatory include them. Chemical seems essential reproducing for H densities smaller than $4\times 10^4$~cm$^{-3}$, whereas above this density. models are, however, systematically below abundances. A more efficient could better reproduce observations. In conclusion, ices cosmic-rays collisions may most mechanism at high density (a few $10^4$~cm$^{-3}$ under studied here) still required densities. Additional works needed both assess efficiency respect main composition.

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

Slip flow in porous micro-tubes under local thermal non-equilibrium conditions

In the present work, forced convection heat transfer of slip flow in porous micro-tubes with local thermal non-equilibrium between the gas and the solid matrix is investigated numerically. For this purpose, the flow is considered hydrodynamically developed but thermally developing. The Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer model in conjunction with separate energy equations for the gas and the solid matri...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

Core Fluctuations and Non-Thermal Electron Distributions at W7-AS

Two special applications of ECE radiometry at W7-AS, for measurement of temperature fluctuations and non-thermal electron distributions, are presented. In the first case correlation-radiometry is applied. The fluctuation spectra are found to be composed of two components, a diffusive and a turbulent one, with relative levels of 0.L-2o/". The latter one is discussed in the frame of a turbulent m...
